WETSUIT BOOTIE
For some, the ocean is fearsome and dangerous, but to others, like myself; it’s a limitless world of fun. Growing up in Ventura, California, I needed surf booties to make it out across the sharp rocks that lay hidden at my favorite break. Surfing with booties kept me warm and protected my feet, but hindered my ability to feel the board. This project will be a personal experiment on how to allow a surfer to perform at their best and concur the saltwater wilderness that lies beyond the shore.
